We are still looking for Explorers to help on the Ranges at the Archery Day on Sunday 19th September.
PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR DISTRICT AND HELP AT THIS EVENT
In order to help on the range you will need to attend this training session held at 1st Hungerford, The Croft, Hungerford, RG17 0HY from 10:00 -12:30 on SUNDAY 5th.

Representatives from each Explorer Scout Unit recently attended a meeting to discuss joint activities and arrange the official launch of a District Forum which will be held on 13th September 2010.
The outline for this forum is:
Main Focus will be programme planning (and review)
Every Unit in the District (including YL's Unit) should be represented by 2* Explorers
'Chaired' by Explorers not leaders!
Flexible format to prevent meeting becoming staid and boring
Its purpose will be:
- to implement a district-wide balanced programme that complements the Unit programmes
- to ensure all Explorer Scouts have access to the whole programme
- to plan and organise district events and the annual District Explorer Scout Meeting
So if you think you are a suitable candidate and up for the challenge, put your name forward and help to shape the future of Kennet District Explorer Scouting!
